Glyki Ear is located below the villages of Souli, at the exit of the Straits of Acheron, which is the natural border of the Regional Unity of Thesprotia and Preveza. It is a holiday destination for countless tourists and nature lovers.

Access guides
Access to the prefectures of Thesprotia and Preveza from large urban centers, it can be done either by road: Athens through Preveza or Arta, Thessaloniki through Ioannina – Egnatia Odos, or by air: Ioannina, Corfu and Aktion of Preveza or by boat: Corfu and Patras. Particular information for accessing each region find below:
Glyki / Straits Acheron:
Starting from Preveza, you take the road to Kanalaki and from there then to Glyki. Starting from Igoumenitsa you cross the piece of the Egnatia Odos, turn to Paramythia and continue the road to Glyki.
Estuary Acheron:
Starting from Preveza follow the highway to Igoumenitsa. Before arriving to Mesopotamos the deltaiki plain is revealed ahead. From Igoumenitsa, following the highway to Preveza, 4 km after the intersection to Parga the marsh of Ammoudia and the surrounding area of the estuary are revealed.
